Last Thursday 26th September Élaios High School’s first of ESO BRIT students (of French and English) and Río Ebro School’s sixth year bilingual French students met at Río Ebro School to celebrate together the European Day of Languages. First Élaios High School students made a speech, both in French and English, on and about the different countries and languages spoken in Europe. Then, Primary School students had to guess the language of some expressions (in more than 30 languages) they were given by Élaios’ students and finally, they made bracelets with those expressions and posters with all the information they had previously found. The students had the opportunity to meet and to analyse the importance of languages in the present-day world.
