SPORTS PROJECT

in April 2nd PMAR students of English have done a wonderful SPORTS PROJECT. Their teacher, SUSANA BERNÉ has given them some guidelines and the students have used their mobile phones with Internet connection as tools to do some research on the following aspects about the chosen sport:

1. In which sports place is it practised?     2. What equipment is it necessary to practise it?     3. Main rules (using MUST/MUSTN’T)
4. in which countries is it most popular?     5. Which sportsmen/sportswomen are most relevant?     6. Which are the main world competitions?

These posters are the results of their hard work!!

SECOND-TERM ART CHALLENGE: «Visiting Museums»

During the second term, Art teacher Verónica Gayán encouraged her students to discover not only art through museums, but also their own city and all its cultural offerings. The voluntary challenge was called «Visiting Museums» and they could choose any art exhibition. After the visit, the curious and brave students wrote down a newspaper article with their own opinion and the analysis of one of the art pieces, applying what they had learnt at school.
