En el v\u00eddeo vemos como la superficie de cobre se recubre con peque\u00f1os cristales de plata.  Es una reacci\u00f3n r\u00e9dox  o de intercambio de electrones. El cobre de la l\u00e1mina se oxida pasando a la disoluci\u00f3n por lo que \u00e9sta toma un ligero tono azulado.
